Dustin Shell, Director of Innovation – TiER1 Performance
Dustin is passionate about pushing the limits of technology and relationships to help people and organizations be their best. With a background in music, technology, counseling, adult learning, and innovation design, Dustin brings a unique and holistic perspective on how to create solutions that engage people at work. From an empathy game that put the patient at the center of decision-making at a large pharma company, to a self-service onboarding technology platform that scaled a growing direct sales organization, to a product innovation framework to empower leaders at a large retailer, Dustin strives to balance the needs of the organization with the desires of the end user to create solutions that people will use and get the desired results. Dustin is a published author on topics such as learning space design, scaffolding and motivation, and gamification.
Zac Ryland, Sr. Solutions Consultant – TiER1 Performance
A strong voice in TiER1’s learning community of practice and as a learning strategist for clients, Zac partners directly with stakeholders to uncover tactics that can activate their strategies and maximize the potential of their people. In opportunity spaces such as leadership development, onboarding, and product development, Zac has led clients from California to New York City in blending various approaches, including eLearning and ILT modules, mobile learning solutions, and gamified platforms. As a frequent facilitator of TiER1’s D3 sessions and design sprints, he draws upon a foundation rooted in psychology and experiences in teaching, as well as leading and coaching teachers, to engage and inspire people to grow.
